Bicycling the Cape Road—The hill up from Bakeman Beach

It's a long hill up from Bakeman Beach, challenging but not impossible, even for a less experienced cyclist. And the reward when you reach the top is significant. There's the view, for one thing, of a wide swath of bay, dotted with islands. And, for another thing, although it's hardly downhill from here, you have passed the single hardest climb on the way around the Cape.
